If there is one thing we do well (besides designing innovative kids products) it is offer support to families choosing to raise their kids in cities, in urban centers, in the chaos where multi cultures meet all economic walks of life. It is here that we thrive best and focus on designing products that fit this lifestyle. Our corporate office is in Chicago, resembling more of a design maker-space, and sandwiched between a flagship Whole Foods, national retailers, and even a family-friendly local craft brewery. Not a day goes by that we are not talking to parents and customers.
"Our corporate office is in Chicago, resembling more of a design maker-space..."
We empathize with the humor and patience required to navigate child raising in a city. We focus that parent's daily life - and strive to create products that could potentially to make it easier. Our core and original product was a nap mat, an all-in-one solution for daycare bedding, primarily conceived for a working mother who is simply busy! Who has time every morning to find a pillow and blanket while trying to get a toddler coerced into leaving the house for school. From there, the collection has grown to over 60 products, each serving to make a parent's life easier.
Our charitable component consists of our same core principal - donating time and products to families and kids in cities to help to change their trajectory of their life. Our social media and original blog content reflects the same mission - empowering parents, adding humor to their life, and providing relevant and useful content.

Award-Winning Urban Infant Lookbook
To help communicate our corporate passions - from visiting city libraries to multi-cultural dining exposures for kids - the urban designed a limited-run Lookbook in 2018. Much to our surprise, it proceeded to win design awards for both content and design. Achieving the Medal of Excellence from Graphic Design USA and Mohawk Paper Mills, the book was strategically produced on recycled papers that are FSC certified, made with wind power and made carbon neutral to support sustainable design. The fiber content of the book varied from 50% to 100% post consumer waste, depending on the paper shades of the run.
